I don't think Gae In's father blame Gae In for the death of his wife. He blame himself because he basically designed the house and he didn't study the hazard of using that kind of material in a house with a toddler living in it. Coz if he hates Gae In, he should have abandoned her. Instead he closed Sanggojae because of that incident. He even hide the workshop from Gae In to prevent the trauma from coming back. Even though he doesn't show any affection to Gae In, I'm definitely sure that he loves Gae In so much. Its just hard for him because Gae In is the living proof of his negligence with the Sanggojae design.

I totally get that In Hee wants someone to love her but she needs to realize that she is going about it the wrong way. Doing what she is will not get her a lasting love. Ugh.
